The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League's Seasiders are looking forward to running out in the FA Cup at the weekend in brand new kit thanks to one of the largest regeneration and housing companies in the North.

Coast & Country, which is building 300 homes a few miles down the North Yorkshire coast from Whitby Town's Turnbull Ground, handed over a new strip to the Premier Division club as part of their efforts to support the wider community, pictured.

The Seasiders host the Northern League's West Auckland Town in Saturday's First Qualifying Round and Chairman Graham Manser said: "We are delighted that Coast & Country has provided us with smart new strips. It is fantastic that an organisation, like Coast & Country, which is making a positive impact on the area with a major new housing development, also wants to support the wider community."

Coast & Country Chief Executive Iain Sim said: "Coast & Country’s activities go beyond housing provision and management. We also help improve the circumstances of clubs and organisations within communities near to our developments. We wish Whitby Town F.C all the best for the upcoming seasons."

Saturday's opponents famously won the first World Cup in 1909 when they lifted the first-known international football tournament, The Thomas Lipton Trophy. They repeated the feat in 1911 beating the likes of Stuttgart and Juventus in the process. They repeated the feat in 1911 and a TV film starring Dennis Waterman was made in 1982 showcasing the club's amazing achievements.

They are expected to provide formidable opposition for Seasiders manager Darren Williams in the 105th meeting of the two clubs. Despite playing two levels below the Blues, Peter Dixon's side are unbeaten in the First Division of the Northern League this season.
