New matchday stewards wanted

Stourbridge are looking to train up a new batch of matchday stewards for the 2017-18 EVO-STIK League campaign.

The Glassboys used their official Twitter account to tell fans on Wednesday that they were looking for at least three or four people to train in a statement setting a deadline of August 28 for potential candidates to come forward.

@StourbridgeFC tweeted: "We require more stewards to support our dedicated number of volunteers and ensure it is a positive and safe experience at the War Memorial Ground for home and away fans alike."

Applicants, who must be 18-years-old, should contact Ian Pilkington at the EVO-STIK Premier club for more information.
