New role for Long Eaton forward

Long Eaton United forward Ben Hutchinson will take up a coaching role ahead of the 2023-24 season.

The experienced frontman has been with the Blues since the start of the 2021-22 season.

Before then, he had a distinguished professional career, appearing for the likes of Celtic, Middlesbrough, Swindon Town, Dundee and Kilmarnock. In total, he made over 100 appearances at professional level.

The 35-year-old will now join the coaching team at the Nottinghamshire club, as they prepare for their first ever season at step three.

The club hope Hutchinson will be able to use his experience to help the team prepare for this historic season.
