New website goes live after development work

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Grantham Town have completed the launch of their new Pitchero-powered official club website.

The Gingerbreads announced in July that they were joining hundreds of Non-League clubs already hosted by Pitchero, the official operators of the EVO-STIK NPL's website.

Grantham Town chief executive Keith Horton confirmed on Wednesday that the Premier Division club's domain name - www.granthamtownfc.com - had been successfully transferred and registered to their new website -www.pitchero.com/clubs/granthamtown - to ensure easy access for supporters.

Horton, pictured, said: "We are very pleased to partner with Pitchero who will now host our website. Pitchero are the recognised brand leader in the provision of web sites for both semi-professional and amateur football teams.

"They will bring a fresh approach to our site and we will be able to offer greater functionality on the site for not only our supporters but also all visitors to the site."

He added: "It will be the one stop shop for all news and information relating to all our clubs activities."

Pitchero, who already host more than half of the EVO-STIK NPL's club websites, are delighted to recruit another member to the growing network which also includes clubs from a number other sports including rugby and hockey.

A spokesman for Pitchero said: "Grantham Town have joined a global sports network of over 12,000 websites uniting millions of sports fans worldwide including players, parents, coaches and club officials.

"United on one unique platform, Pitchero provides each club, league or county organisations with the tools they need to create a website manage their membership and collect payments online.

"Each website is supported by a range of mobile apps designed to save time and improve club and team communication. Powering over 12,000 websites, Pitchero is proud to reach over five million users each month and has a registered database of 1.2 million members."
