No fee, no move for transfer-listed striker

By David Watters

Witton Albion

Witton Albion striker Scott Bakkor has been transfer listed for breaching the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League club's code of conduct.

The 20-year-old, pictured, was told on Tuesday that he could leave the Premier Division club following several breaches of club discipline and the terms of his contract. Officials say an acceptable fee will be required before any transfer is sanctioned.

Bakkor joined Albion in January 2014 from First Division North Clitheroe and has scored six times in 25 appearances.

In a statement announcing his listing, the club said: "Every Witton Albion player signs a code of conduct when joining the club, the terms of which cover all aspects of players' conduct and discipline, both on and off the pitch. Witton Albion takes, and will continue to take, player discipline very seriously."
