No shortage of county cup action!

By David Watters

The coming week is county cup week for the EVO-STIK League with clubs getting ready to kick off in no less than sixteen competitions.

A whopping 24 of the Northern Premier League's 68 clubs are taking a break from their league campaigns in the run-up to Christmas to go in search of silverware in 16 competitions and one prestigious friendly fixture.

While five clubs compete in five competitions on Wednesday night, Tuesday evening sees 18 scheduled to kick off in 11 cups from Worcestershire to Liverpool, Lancashire and Yorkshire as well as in the EVO-STIK League's own Integro League Cup.

Halesowen Town are looking forward to putting their week off from the top flight to good use on Tuesday night when the Yeltz travel to RAF Cosford in Shropshire to take on the RAF's senior representative side in a friendly as part of the service's 100th anniversary celebrations.

Fans can follow next week's games on any of the EVO-STIK League's social media channels with the Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Vole accounts offering news and the latest scores from the 7.45pm kick-offs before heading to the results pages for a full classified results service.
