No shortage of power at Dynamo

The Evo-Stik Northern Premier League campaign is at an end but the season isn’t quite over yet at Loughborough Dynamo’s Nanpantan Sports Ground.

A friendly under floodlights at the First Division South ground on Thursday night saw the U15 academy sides of Derby County and Leicester City in action, the Foxes earning a 1-0 victory over their local rivals.

Both benches had connections to the host club through Dynamo first team player and coach Lee Morris. He also coaches the Derby U15 side and spent two years with Leicester.

Leicester legend Muzzy Izzett was also on the touchline coaching the Premier League bound club’s youngsters. The former Turkish international had an eight year spell with
The Foxes from 1996 to 2004 after initially signing on loan from Chelsea for Martin O'Neill before making the switch permanent.
