Northern Premier League play-off finals

Promotion is at stake for the eight clubs involved across the four divisions, with three of the clubs that finished second in the regular season hosting the finals.

Workington host the other, as they welcome Runcorn Linnets who defeated Leek Town in the semi-finals for the second season running to become the only fifth placed side to make a final this year.

Linnets will be hoping to go one better than last year, when they were beaten at home by Marine.

Both the East Division semi-finals were settled on penalties, with Long Eaton winning 3-2 on spot kicks away at Hebburn Town having surrendered a 2-0 lead earlier on the night.

They will travel to Stockton Town, who like Runcorn, were beaten play-off finalists last season when they went down 2-1 at Marske United.

In the Midlands Division, Halesowen Town host Spalding United which like in the Premier Division, will be second against third.

The three Step 4 finals take place on Saturday, with Warrington Town hosting Bamber Bridge in the Premier Division final on Monday.
