NPL welcomes new energy partner

By James Gordon

The Northern Premier League is delighted to welcome Troo as its new energy services partner.

Troo have signed an initial 18-month deal where they will engage with clubs to try and help secure savings amidst the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

It is the latest addition to the NPL’s suite of official partners, all designed to provide value to its member clubs. The league takes feedback from clubs at regular intervals when it comes to services and suppliers that they need, and this information is used to engage with the most appropriate league partners.

Clubs will be able to take advantage of an audit of their energy usage, as well as the opportunity to generate revenue for themselves via a referral scheme.

NPL Chairman Mark Harris said: “We have been looking for an energy partner with the knowledge of our level of the game, and of the volunteer-driven nature our clubs. To help tackle the cost-of-living crisis we are looking forward to working with Troo to deliver impartial advice and guidance to Northern Premier League clubs.”

Scott Cameron Troo Partner Channel Manager said: "With our long history of partnering with sports professionals across football, rugby, cricket and motor racing we are delighted to have been chosen to team up with the NPL as the Official Energy Partner. Troo are looking forward to working with the NPL over the next 18 months, offering advice, support and expertise to all clubs whilst navigating through the ever-changing commercial energy market. We provide tailored solutions to managing and lowering their energy costs and we’re looking forward to engaging with the clubs directly”.

Troo join the Northern Premier League’s existing partners, which include: Pitching In, Chryso, Andy’s Man Club, The Daniel Wilkinson Foundation, Kaizen, FWP, The Slatter Group, Wiseman Lighting, Macron, Marsh Commercial and Veo.
