Bradford (Park Avenue) are looking to build upon their ambitions for the future, with a new feature for their official website.
The Avenue's press officer Lewis Sale has been looking at ways to increase the way the club's brand is portrayed, but also improve the media coverage. Therefore, on Tuesday night, Sale, 22, ran a trial test on the site to produce live text commentary from the game at North Ferriby United.
The press officer commented: 'I have been in dialogue with the board as well as supporters to help take the club forward off the pitch. We are still in discussions about certain ideas and whether they can be achieved this season. However, I wanted to create the feeling for those who are unable to go to games or follow my Twitter account, that they can follow how Bradford are performing. Therefore, the concept of live text commentary arose, and I believe that it worked well on Tuesday night, despite the result! I am hoping that I can roll out this idea on a game by game basis, depending on its success.'
On the pitch, Bradford (Park Avenue) suffered a narrow defeat at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium, losing to the Villagers 2-1. Nevertheless, the run of fixtures appears daunting with ties scheduled in the month against Chorley and Rushall Olympic. Furthermore, this is followed by back to back fixtures of FC United of Manchester and the long trip to Hednesford Town in the New Year.
