Hednesford Town put aside their bid for the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League's Premier Division title on Wednesday night to beat Rushall Olympic 5-1 in the Staffordshire Senior Cup Final at Port Vale.
The title-chasing Pitmen had to come from behind in front of a crowd of 575 at Vale Park after Kyle Haynes put their Premier Division rivals ahead on 20 minutes, Ben Bailey equalising eight minutes later to send the sides into the break all square.
A quick-fire double from Jamey Osborne on 66 and 69 minutes put the Pitmen in control before Aaron Rey on 86 minutes and David Macpherson a minute into extra-time ended any hopes of a Pics comeback.
