Tenor Martin Toal to perform at ceremony, plus voting details

Momentum is gathering for March's Player of the Year awards, with the announcement that tenor Martin Toal will be performing at the ceremony.

Toal is regarded as one of the country's top operatic voices, and has performed the National Anthem at a six England internationals, with the Three Lions' unbeaten record in those games gaining him the nickname "England's Winning Tenor" .

The event - held at Holiday Inn, Barnsley, on March 25th - will celebrate the players of the Evo-Stik NPL, with a host of awards voted for by the managers of opposing clubs.

Also slated for the evening is the "Fans' Player of the Year Award", which is run in conjunction with the Northern Premier League Facebook group.

To nominate, simply follow the link on the official "Evo-Stik League" fan page and add your nomination to the list already on the group.

Nominations close on Friday 10th February, and a from those a short-list will be announced next week. The winner of the award will be decided by the Northern Premier League group administrators, and announced on the evening of the event.

Clubs should contact League Secreatry Angie Firth with ticket requests, while all general ticketing enquiries should be directed to Tom Snee.
