Podcast producers mix it up

The team behind the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's officials podcasts has been rubbing shoulders with the stars of the game and the football industry at the 2015 FSF Awards.

FCUM Radio, producers of the EVO-STIK NPL Show, EVO-STIK NPL Show Extra and the EVO-STIK NPL Division One show, were among 66 nominees in 12 categories who gathered at the plush St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London for the The Football Supporters’ Federation's star-studded annual awards to celebrate the best aspects of the sport from the players to the best bloggers, commentators, pundits and fanzines.

Nominated for the Radio Show of the Year accolade for their This Is My Club show, the team from last season's EVO-STIK NPL Premier Division champions and host Ben Hughes have been producing the league's officials podcasts for the last three seasons. In London they were up against talkSPORT's Call Collymore and Hawksbee and Jacobs shows, Absolute Radio's Rock and Roll Football, BBC 5Live's The Monday Night Club and the night's eventual winners, BBC 5Live's 606.

Voting for the awards closed back on December 7 with the other winners on the night including Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez who collected the FSF 2015 Player of the Year award, FSF 2015 Pundit of the Year Jamie Carragher and FSF 2015 Commentator of the Year, Martin Tyler of Sky Sports.

Sponsored for the second season running by the NPL's title sponsors EVO-STIK, all three of the league's official podcasts are available on both iTunes and Audioboom and since the start of this season, directly via their own button on the home page.
