Poster boys celebrate new shirt deal

An award-winning commercial and sports production company has signed a three year shirt sponsorship deal with EVO-STIK League Frickley Athletic.

The Mob Film Company has more than 20 years of experience in the commercial and sports production industry and offices in London, Manchester and Los Angeles. The largest sports production company in Europe with a global client list working with international rights holders and brands, they are now looking forward to seeing the logo of MOB Sport, a division of the firm, on the front of the Blues strip when the new season kicks off on Saturday.

Athletic’s new sponsors at Westfield Lane have worked with Hollywood directors producing award-winning productions for teams such as Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Juventus. The logo of the Gold Cannes Lions and BAFTA award-winning company will also be emblazoned across the club's match-day and non-matchday training kit and MOB Sport will benefit from stadium branding and club marketing material.

The Blues' new partners have revealed that they were especially delighted to become the main sponsors as the Premier Division club holds an emotional tie for MOB’s executive producer John Brocklehurst. Born in South Elmsall, his grandfather and father both played for the club and his nephew Jack Wakefield is a midfielder in the current squad.

After much acclaimed global success working with international football brands, clubs and stars such as Michael Owen, Rio Ferdinand, Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo, staff are also looking forward to putting something back into the game by supporting the EVO-STIK League club. To increase awareness among the local community, they’ve already designed a poster campaign featuring many of the first team players with inspiring messages and a play on words Thank #Frickley it’s Saturday.

Frickley have now signed or renewed a number of new sponsorship deals this summer including agreements with Ramsdens Solictors, Tech 5 and Oakworth Consultancy Services.

Ramsdens are an award-winning and leading legal firm in Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield and have taken out a package of advertising board, programme advert and match sponsorship. They have 170 staff, working in 12 different practice areas, with solicitors and support staff fluent in four languages, and offer the full spectrum of legal services to organisations and to the individual.

Tech5 are long-time supporters of the club, being a leading national finance broker with access to competitive funding via a number of major finance companies. Previously based in York they relocated to Buxton a couple of years ago. Tech5’s sponsorship consists of advertising boards and programme adverts.

Oakworth Consultancy Services are another company who have sponsored the club previously. Based in Pontefract and Hull Oakworth Consultancy Services is a successful IFA firm with a reputation as one of the foremost investment and retirement planning organisations in the north. They have taken out a series of match sponsorships for the coming season.
