The highest-placed team in action is Matlock Town, who will look to close the gap to league leaders FC United of Manchester to one point with victory at home to Marske United.
The Gladiators will look to regroup following Saturday’s 3-1 defeat to Warrington Town, while the managerless visitors have lost their last three league matches without scoring a goal.
Two more sides with their eyes firmly set on climbing the division are Gainsborough Trinity and Morpeth Town, who will meet at the Northolme.
Trinity saw their seven-game unbeaten run in the league come to a halt at home to Bamber Bridge on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Jamie Milligan’s Brig side will be keen to push on after coming from behind to earn a point away at Atherton Collieries.
Speaking of Colls, they host a Radcliffe side that will be keen to end a run of four successive draws in all competitions, and potentially jump to second in the league table depending on other results.
Stafford Rangers and Hyde United, two of the teams currently in the top half, will do battle at Marston Road.
Rangers have drawn their last two league matches, while the visiting Tigers ended a four-game winless run last weekend with a 1-0 victory over Marske.
And in the final midweek fixture of the round, struggling Lancaster City host a Liversedge side buoyed by their 1-0 win at Nantwich Town last time out.
