Premier Division round-up: Whitby stun Bamber Bridge as Trinity end winless run

Bamber Bridge missed the chance to move top of the Northern Premier League after they were soundly beaten 3-0 at Whitby Town on Tuesday night.
The Seasiders hit the front inside the opening minute through Aaron Haswell, before Brad Fewster and Harrison Beeden also netted before half-time as Nathan Haslam’s side recorded just their fourth league win of the season.
Defeat compounds a disappointing few days for the Brig, who were beaten 7-0 at Hyde United on Saturday.
In the night’s other match, Gainsborough Trinity ended their three-match winless run with a 2-0 victory at Marine.
Both goals came inside the final 16 minutes from Curtis Durose, who has now netted six times this season.
