Premier Division round-up: Yellows fight back on the road, Guiseley win again

By James Gordon

Two fixtures took place in the Northern Premier League on Tuesday night.

At the Project Solar Stadium, Warrington Town fought back twice to earn a 2-2 draw at high-flying Hyde United.

Having trailed to Jack Redshaw’s header midway through the first half, the Yellows equalised on the stroke of half-time through Luke Duffy.

Brad Roscoe restored the Tigers’ lead four minutes after the break, but Matty McDonald scrambled home a second equaliser for the Yellows, who climb to fourth in the table, two places below Hyde.

On the Yorkshire coast, Guiseley recorded their third win in four matches with a 2-0 victory over Whitby Town.

First half goals from Andy Kellet and Leigh Whelan secured the points for the Lions, lifting them to 11th in the division.
