Robins forward makes Wales move

Ashton United have confirmed that forward Jack Kenny has left the club to join Welsh side Connah’s Quay Nomads.

Kenny previously enjoyed nine months at the club in 2018-19 but made just 12 appearances in total, six of which came from the bench.

He joined the Robins last summer and went on to feature 15 times.

The club are currently 13th in the Northern Premier League ahead of Saturday’s trip to Whitby Town, where they will go in search of consecutive wins following the arrival of new boss Steve Cunningham.
