Quiggin injury adds to Royals' woes

Assistant manager Neil Tooth confirms broken metatarsal

Sutton Coldfield Town's injury woes continue as it was revealed that Jimmy Quiggin has broken his metatarsal and will be out for 6 weeks and adds to the numbers already ruled out.

Assistant Manager Neil Tooth said, "It hasn't been the best preparation for the Roms game but we have to go with what we have.

"We will be without 7 key players on Monday but just like Roms did at Shepshed we will have to use some from the under 21s and hope they can step up.

"It's always a tight affair against Romulus and I think it will be a very open attacking game as both sides like to play and attack at pace so I would expect to see a few goals and hopefully that may get a few faces through the gate.

Despite Sutton's position in the league, Tooth doesn't see The Royals as favourites for this one. "They go into the game with better form than us as they are unbeaten in there last 5 matches and of course they are at home so I make them slight favourites for the game but as I have said I think it will be a close entertaining game".

Asked about any new faces Tooth said, "We hope to have at least one in for Monday and we have made a couple of 7 day approaches for others but we will have to wait and see".
