Raft of new signings for Brighouse Town

Brighouse Town have announced four new arrivals ahead of their opening pre-season friendly against Farsley Celtic.

Arriving at St Giles Road are defenders Matty Ingham and Alex Phillipson, midfielder Jack Crook and academy product Malachi Bailey.

Ingham will be no stranger to Town's opening pre-season opponents, having signed from National League North side Farsley.

Crook, meanwhile, joins the club after a spell with Northern Counties side Eccleshill United.

Forward option Bailey came through the Brighouse youth ranks but has impressed enough to earn a first team deal ahead of the 2023/24 season.

All four new arrivals come as manager Vill Powell looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging for promotion.

Town finished eighth in the Pitching In NPL East Division last season, 12 points off the play-offs.
