Now 50, the the former Reds, Tranmere Rovers, Real Sociedad and Northern Ireland striker, has agreed to headline the EVO-STIK NPL Premier Division club's upcoming sports dinner on Thursday 23 March.
Comedian Les Gibson, who rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent in 2011, will also be at the event and three course meal at the Weaver Stadium.
Aldridge, an active media pundit, dinner speaker and finalist for the Soccer Speaker of the Year Award in 2016, has plenty to talk about after a glittering career spanning two decades which kicked off at Newport County and Oxford United before his switch to Anfield in 1987.
Best known for his time at Liverpool, where he scored 50 goals in 83 games, he went on to Tranmere Rovers and scored 138 goals in 243 games. He ended his career with 422 goals, including 330 in the Football League to sit in sixth spot on the list of all time goalscorers.
