Goole AFC manager John Reed expects to bring more new faces into his Evo-Stik NPL First Divsion North side over the coming days on top of the eight who signed this week.

Reed completed his first signings of the summer with four arriving from his former club Buxton FC.

Highly rated goalkeeper Hartley arrives at the Victoria Pleasure Grounds having made over 350 appearances for Derbyshire side Buxton.

Midfielder Chris Ovington also arrives from Buxton. He came through the junior ranks at Leeds United and has had spells at FC United of Manchester, Guiseley, Farsley and Bradford Park Avenue.

The Buxton link continues with defender Sam Liversidge and former Barnsley youth team midfielder David Taylor.

Forwards Mark Baggaley, Tim Council and Matt Stirland have siged on for another campaign with Reed at the helm while midfielder Andy Jackson makes a return to the club.
