Harrogate Railway Athletic manager Billy Miller has rewarded keeper Tom Goodwin with a contract for his performances since taking over between the sticks at the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League club.
Goodwin, who took over keeping duties at Station View in November, is pictured signing signed a 16 month contract for Miller at the First Division North club on Thursday.
The former Ashton United and AFC Fylde U19s stopper has been in good form since allowing the club's former number one Lee Ashforth to concentrate on his duties as assistant manager. Of the 17 games he's played in, Railway have won 12, drawn three and lost only two in all competitions.
Miller said: "Tom has performed really well since his arrival and deserves the opportunity. He works hard on all aspects of his game and has a very bright future in the game.”
