Royals bring in two new faces

Defender Aris Christophorou and striker Ryan Boothe have joined Sutton Coldfield Town.

Ahead of their opening pre-season friendly at home to Paget Rangers on July 1, manager Dave Stringer has bolstered his squad, with one of their new arrivals no stranger to Coles Lane.

Christophorou, who spent last season at Boldmere St Michaels, played 75 times for the Royals before moving onto new surroundings.

His defensive abilities will be a major positive for the club as they look to better last season's mid-table finish in the Pitching In NPL Midlands Division.

The Royals have also brought in striker Boothe, who has previously featured for Redditch United and Chasetown.

Stringer's squad finished the season with a negative goal difference, and it is hoped their new source of goals can help fire them up the division.
