Saunders seals double celebration

Rushall Olympic's fans already have plenty to celebrate over Easter after their Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club revealed they'd signed a five figure sponsorship deal and booked Wolverhampton manager Dean Saunders as the guest speaker for their next Sportsmen's Dinner.

Welsh legend Saunders, pictured, is set to entertain fans with tales from his long career in football at Dales Lane on Thursday 25 April. Tickets are now on sale for the event which will also feature top comedian Ian `Sludge` Lees.

While Saunders' appearance will give the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division's play-off hopefuls a financial shot in the arm, their new sponsorship deal with Evolution, one of the UK's leading digital and information security providers, will be a boost for their long term dreams after the company agreed to sponsor a stand and become a major advertiser around Dales Lane and in their matchday programmes.

Rushall Olympic's General Manager, Terry Brumpton, said: "We are delighted to welcome Evolution on board as one of our new partners. As part of the sponsorship they will have a stand named after the company, have some presence in the club`s award winning matchday programmes as well as advertising boards around the ground."
