Scholars action inspires children's tale

Chasetown press officer and football writer Paul Mullins has used his love of the game to help him make his debut as an author next weekend.

The Scholars scribe, pictured, is also the webmaster at the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club and hasn’t missed a game home or away since 2008.

Now he’s looking forward to the release on Kindle on March 29 of 'Leah and the Football Dragons', the tale of a girl who changes the fortunes of a boys' team who’ve never won which he’s penned for children aged eight and upwards.

A facebook page has been set up to accompany the book which Mullins is hoping fans will ‘like’.
