Seasiders appoint new manager

Marske United have confirmed the appointment of Curtis Woodhouse as the new first team manager.

Woodhouse will take charge of the first team following the departure of club legend Carl Jarrett last month.

Having previously managed Tadcaster Albion and Gainsborough Trinity, Woodhouse returns to the managerial scene with plenty of non-league experience.

In a statement posted on Twitter, he said: “I’m thrilled to be announced as the new Marske United Manager, a fantastic club with lots of potential.”

“After sitting down with Mark and the board I was left excited about the journey ahead of us.”

“It’s not going to be easy or instant but together we can get back on track and get moving forward again.”

Marske currently sit 16th in the Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division, with 20 points from 14 games.

His managerial debut for the Seasiders will be at home this Saturday, as they take on Atherton Collieries.
