Seasiders on school run for fans

Whitby Town are out and about this week drumming up support among the EVO-STIK League club's next generation of fans.

Seasiders manager Chris Hardy, chairman Graham Manser, press officer Paul Connolly, committee man Eddie MacNamee and other representatives from the Turnbull Ground are out in force all week visiting every local school in their area.

As well as promoting good fitness and team spirit as part of the EVO-STIK League Premier Division club's efforts to promote themselves in the community, the Seasiders will be handing out free season tickets to U16s and offering youngsters a chance to design the posters for the upcoming pre-season Whitby Town Challenge Cup featuring Middlesbrough, Hull City and Sheffield United.
