The Seasiders, who host Halesowen Town on Tuesday night in a bid to regain their top five spot in the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight after being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Rushall Olympic on Saturday, have launched an urgent hunt for a new physio to work with Chris Hardy's squad after sports medicine practioner Paul Scott left the Turnbull Ground last week.
Club spokesman Paul Connolly said: "Whitby Town Football Club would like to wish 'Scotty' all the best in the future and thank him for his service to the club.
"The decision came from Paul before Tuesday night’s match with Spennymoor Town and the club is now on the lookout for a new first-team physio. The ideal candidate would be able to commit to Saturday matchdays, as well as Tuesdays and Thursdays for training sessions."
Potential candidates to work with Hardy, pictured, should register their interest by sending a covering letter and CV to club press officer Connolly at: bluearmyfanzine@gmail.com.
