Shaun Miller leaves Dabbers

Nantwich Town have confirmed that striker Shaun Miller has left the club by mutual consent.

Miller joined the Dabbers in August 2021 and has made 41 appearances to date.

However, he has seen game time limited in recent weeks, with his last league start for the club coming at the end of October.

He played over 450 times in 15 years during a glittering Football League career prior to his move to the Northern Premier League side.

The club say that his departure was “fully amicable”.

Nantwich Town Ritchie Sutton said: “Shaun is a great lad with lots of footballing experience and we go back a long way together.

“We have had lots of open and honest conversations over the last 4 weeks or so and Shaun has stated he’d like more game time given his experience and pedigree, which I fully understand.

“We are fortunate at the moment to have some really good striker options and I’ve been honest in that we can’t guarantee Shaun a starting position, so we have agreed between us he can secure a move elsewhere.

“We sincerely thank Shaun for his contribution to the club and wish him all the best in his next move.”
