Sledgehammers wanted for smashing job

EVO-STIK League Frickley Athletic are appealing for volunteers to form a working party at Westfield Lane on Saturday.

The Premier Division's Blues are looking for fans who can spare a few hours to turn up from 9.30am. Organisers say the main work planned involves repairs to damaged terracing and are hoping volunteers will bring along sledgehammers and shovels.

Athletic were reprieved from relegation from the EVO-STIK League's top flight in May following the Football Association's annual reshuffle of the Non-League pyramid and officials are also pushing ahead with their commercial plans for the new season.

A new main shirt sponsor and stadium sponsor are their top priorities following the release of the club's sponsorship packages for the 2014-15 campaign, pictured, and they have also introduced a number of new options for supporters and local businesses with prices ranging from £75 to £1500.

For more information contact Andy Picken, the commercial manager at Westfield Lane.
