Smith extends Matlock stay

Matlock Town have extended the loan deal of midfielder Scott Smith from Guiseley.
Smith, 20, has impressed during the Gladiators’ strong start to the season, which has seen them remain unbeaten after seven games.
News of the extension, which was confirmed on Thursday night, provides a boost to Steve Kittrick ahead of the weekend’s visit of South Shields in the BetVictor Northern Premier.
