Belper support fans "Feeling off their Game"

Belper Town linked up with their local council and NHS trust to promote World Suicide Prevention Day.

At their match against Glossop North End, volunteers at the Raygar Stadium handed out resources to fans to make them aware of the services that are available if they are “Feeling off their Game".

It was done in partnership with Derbyshire County Council and Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Trust ahead of the awareness day, which was on September 10.

This is the second year that the club has partnered with the healthcare authorities to promote awareness of the help and services that are available.

Men are four more times more likely than women to die as a result of suicide and a man dies through suicide every two hours.

There is no need to suffer in silence so we hope that fans will take on board advice on healthy living and also to keep a lookout for mates that might be suffering.

The Northern Premier League are partnered up with Andy’s Man Club to raise awareness of mental health.
