South moves north to join Sheepicorns

Ossett United have signed former Belper Town defender Danny South.

The experienced South will link up with former Nailers boss Grant Black, who was recently unveiled as the Sheepicorns’ new manager on a deal until the end of next season.

He has been with the Nailers since the summer of 2018, and won a place in the Northern Premier League Team of the Season in 2021/22.

South has made 10 appearances for Belper so far this season.
