South Shields selected for TV coverage

South Shields’ FA Cup first round clash with League One Forest Green Rovers has been selected for live TV coverage.
The tie will be broadcast on BBC One on Saturday 5 November, with a midday kick-off.
Shields will welcome to the 1st Cloud Arena a Forest Green side which currently sits 21st in League One.
Kevin Phillips’ side booked their place in the first round proper with a 1-0 victory over National League Scunthorpe United.
The Mariners’ FA Cup fixture is one of five that will be broadcast from Friday 4 November until Monday 7 November.
