Spectacular display will be best yet

With an award-winning fireworks display team running the show, EVO-STIK Northern Premier League Skelmersdale United are looking forward to staging their best ever fireworks night.

Taking place this Friday night before they host Workington in the EVO-STIK NPL's top flight on Saturday, the now annual Skelmersdale United Bonfire Night has become the biggest event in the area, last year attracting more than 2,500 people to the club's Uretek Stadium.

Club officials say the community can look forward to their most spectacular display yet after booking the same fireworks display team who won a host of awards at the Southport Fireworks Competition in September.

On the night there will also be fairground rides for children and families and lots of stalls with the gates opening at 5pm and the display set to start at 7.30pm.

Entrance is priced at £4 for adults, £2 for children aged under 16 and £10 for family tickets covering two adults and two children. To avoid the queues expected at the turnstiles, tickets can be purchased in advance for the club using a debit card. For more information call 07990 811868.
