Sponsors kit out entire squad

Ramsbottom United's squad will be resplendent in new tracksuits when the 2016-17 EVO-STIK Northern Premier League season kicks off next month.

Thanks to the sponsorship of Ramsbottom-based SCA Stubbins Mill, delighted officials say the entire squad at EVO-STIK NPL First Division North club have been kitted out.

Joint managers Paul Fildes and Mark Fell, along with new signings Gareth Seddon and Sam Freakes, are pictured taking delivery of the new tracksuits from SCA representatives Susan Harker and Dave Hudson.

Fildes said: “These tracksuits will be worn by every member of the squad for both home and away games, giving the team a professional look.”

SCA, a leading global hygiene and forest products company, produces paper for the UK tissue industry. Employing over 100 people locally, the company has also sponsored the Rams in the past.

Stubbins Mill site manager John Kirwin said: “We hope the new tracksuits will help bring the Rams success and we can all look forward to the club’s promotion back to the Premier Division next season.”
