Sports in for Modest

Modest, 27, is a graduate of the Sheffield Wednesday academy, making his first team debut for the Owls at the age of 17.

He has since played for Gloucester City, Hednesford Town, Telford AFC and Worksop, before scoring 17 goals last season on the east coast.

Modest said: “I am really excited to be here and I feel like Mickleover is a great club which plays football the right way and is moving in the right direction.

“I’m here to achieve great things with this club and I think with the squad the gaffer is putting together we can have a really good season and push for that promotion.

“I am really looking forward to getting started.”
