Stafford's surprise, surprise!

Stafford Rangers

Stafford Rangers have revealed how they kept their new home strip for the upcoming Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division campaign a secret from their players and fans.

Supporters and the Rangers squad only found out on Tuesday night when the new colours were unveiled during training at Marston Road.

Designed by NCA Embroidery of Derrington, the shirt still carries the traditional black & white theme but now has a splash of gold throughout - a perfect touch say the club in a Golden Jubilee and Olympic year.

Stafford's front and back of shirts sponsors remain unchanged with the Stan Robinson Group on the front and Sandon Road Motors still on the back.

Pictured being modelled by Rangers Chairman Rod Woodward and manager Greg Clowes, the Premier Division outfit will wear the new strip for their first home league game against Grantham Town on Tuesday 21 August.

Replica shirts will be on sale at the club’s shop before the 7.45pm kick off and pre-orders can also be made by contacting Liz Alexander at NCA Embroidery via email at nca53@hotmail.co.uk or by calling 07725 324638.
