Stags play good neighbours to Yellows

Hucknall Town

Hucknall Town caretaker manager Jason Truscott signed a pair of young players from their Conference Premier neighbours Mansfield Town on Monday.

The Conference Premier Stags have allowed young striker Joe Flint and midfielder Kurtis Turner to join Truscott's Evo-Stik NPL First Division side on a month's loan.

"We would like to thank Paul Cox and Mansfield Town," said a Hucknall spokesman.

Truscott should have made his debut as Hucknall's new caretaker manager against Newcastle Town on Saturday. He took temporary charge following the resignations of Gary Sucharewycz and Ian Robinson who left last week to take over at Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Grantham but the match at Watnall Road was postponed.
