The Tigers - aiming to raise £15,000 to fund the development of the Hyde United FC community programme - still need to raise £2760 by Wednesday morning to get over the line with the appeal standing at £12,140 on Sunday night.
The EVO-STIK NPL First Division North club's hopes of continuing their provision of community sports, including Disability Football, Walking Football for the over 50s and Girls and Ladies football, will only be funded if at least £15,000 is pledged by 9.14am on 12 January. Incentives for people to pledge include a cash prize of £500 and the chance to win an amazing hiliday worth £2500.
More than a 100 people have already pledged to support the project which has also led to a partnership with the club's local Mosque to ensure more participation in football by Asian boys and girls. Other partnerships with local primary and secondary schools are designed to promote living healthier lifestyles and a lifelong participation in and love of sport.
A Tigers spokesman said: "This program has already engaged with over 300 local boys and girls aged six to 16 and we know we can do so much more. Please send out to all your email contacts, share our Facebook and twitter posts, and speak to people to get them signed up."
