Stockport young gun enjoys dream start to life at Avro

Stockport County defender Jack Kenny has joined Avro on a youth loan.

Kenny made an immediate impact for his new club, starting and scoring the opener in Tuesday's 3-1 win at Vauxhall Motors.

He joined Stockport as a Professional Development Phase scholar ahead of the 2022/23 season and has spent much of the current campaign featuring for County's academy.

Kenny will now link up with the Pitching In NPL West Division outfit for their forthcoming matches as they look to mount a late push for the play-offs.

Avro returned to winning ways in the league in midweek but remain six points adrift of the top five, with nine fixtures left to play.
