Storks creating key youth post

Padiham

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Padiham are looking for an ambitious and experienced coach to take charge of their youth development programme.

The Storks, last season’s North West Counties Football League champions, see youth development as their top priority over the coming years and are creating a paid part-time role for next season to build on their recently announced partnership with Burnley College.

The First Division North club say the successful candidate will be a qualified and enthusiastic coach who excels when working with and developing young players. Officials say the role, which will involve taking ownership of the recruitment and development of their young players and their progression through the ranks to the first team, would also suit applications from coaches with ambitions to go on and work within the professional game.

As well as being encouraged to grow and develop the club’s coaching philosophy, whoever gets the new post at the Arbories Memorial Sports Ground will also be given the scope to implement their own playing style and systems to help their charges reach the next level.

According to a Storks spokesman, they are also seeking another key quality in candidates. "We are not just looking for an outstanding coach but an individual who is a good communicator and can be a real ambassador by enhancing the good reputation Padiham Football Club have built over the years,” said a spokesman.

Candidates should send their CVs with a covering letter to: padihamfcyouthdevelopment@outlook.com
