Frickley Athletic's Luke Hinsley has escaped a three match ban after an FA Regulatory Commission reviewed video evidence provided by his Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club.
The Blues striker, pictured, was sent off for violent conduct in stoppage time of last week's 2-0 Doodson Sport League Cup win over Loughborough Dynamo at Westfield Lane.
After reviewing video of the incident, club officials believed their forward was not guilty of violent conduct and their appeal was successful on Wednesday.
Despite the claim being upheld and the suspension being quashed, the dismissal will still remain on the record of both the club and the player.
The Blues travel to relegated Droyslden on Saturday in the Premier Division.
