Sutton complete loan deal for Yeltz striker

Sutton Coldfield Town have confirmed the loan signing of Matt Funge from Halesowen Town.

The striker has left for league rivals, The Royals, and will look to gain full match fitness with first-team action before heading back to Halesowen.

Funge has appeared fourteen times for Yeltz this campaign, and he will be looking to open his NPL goal-scoring account for the season with his new side.

Sutton are currently sitting 12th in the Northern Premier League Midlands Division, 15 points behind The Yeltz, the current league leaders.

Funge could be in for contention ahead of Sutton’s match against Stamford on Saturday.
