Thomas returns to Nailers

By David Watters

Belper Town

Daryll Thomas has headed back to Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South club Belper Town for the second time.

The striker has put pen-to-paper on a deal taking him from Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division Ilkeston to the Nailers until the end of the season.

Thomas kicked off with his career with Nottingham Forest and then Chesterfield before the prolific scorer switched to Shepshed Dynamo, Carlton Town, Retford United and Hucknall Town.

Thomas arrived at Christchurch Meadow for the first time in September 2010 and joined Ilkeston last season where he added seventeen more goals to his career tally, including one in the play-off final win over Leek Town. He netted three times for the Robins in their FA Cup tie against the Nailers earlier this season.
