Witton Albion

Brian Pritchard has brought in three new faces at Witton Albion he begins assembling his squad for the 2014-15 EVO-STIK League campaign.

Keeper Chris Sanna and full-back Mike Lea have both signed for the Premier Division club's manager, pictured, from Colwyn Bay along forward Mike Koral who’s made the short move from near neighbours Congleton Town.

Sanna, 26, is a product of Stoke City’s academy. He spent seven seasons at Bay making 227 appearances. The highly experienced Lea is also 26 and kicked off his career at Manchester United. He made 15 appearances in 2007 for Belgium’s Royal Antwerp while on loan and on returning to the UK went on to sign for Scunthorpe United, Chester City, Hyde, Rochdale and Colwyn Bay.

Koral, 21, was a regular name on the score sheets at Congleton Town. The former Crewe Alexandra youngster spent time on loan at Booth Street before making the move permanent last season.

Witton also announced the release of Matt Cooper, Ali Brown and Jon Breeze on Monday and thanked them “all for their hard work and commitment”.
