Thursday's Premier Division action review

By David Watters

Nantwich Town confirmed their place in the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League's Premier Division play-offs with a 0-0 draw at The Grove against Halesowen Town on Thursday night, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The visitors dominated proceedings throughout, and the home side were grateful to some good defending and excellent goalkeeping from Daniel Platt for their point.

However, despite 450-plus minutes without a goal, the Yeltz will finish above the drop zone, being five points ahead of the bottom four with just the games on Saturday remaining.

As for the Dabbers, they go into their final match with a hope of at least finishing as high as third.
