Tractor boys are worldwide hit!

Well over than a million fans from around the world have now watched Bamber Bridge hitching a ride home on a tractor after their team bus broke down on the opening day of the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League season!

By Wednesday night footage of the club's fans, players and officials hitching a lift in a tractor's trailer after breaking down in the middle of nowhere following Saturday's 0-0 draw at Scarborough had been viewed by a staggering 1,246,169 people alone on TheSPORTBible, one of the largest online communities for sports fans across the globe.

Millions more have seen the footage of the club's players and manager Neil Crowe enjoying a sing-song while bumping along on the websites of the UK's national papers and TV and radio stations after the story went viral this week.

Brig found themselves in trouble after breaking down in the middle of Yorkshire on their 135 mile trip home to The Sir Tom Finney Stadium from the temporary home of the Seadogs in Bridlington. After flagging down a local farmer, the grateful group were ferried to a country pub three miles away in Middleton for a few pints while they awaited the arrival of a replacement coach.

Despite not making it home until after midnight after raising £50 in whip-round for their saviour, Brig's players and management have labelled their adventure "the greatest away day ever".

In a tweet to his followers, Crowe said: "Unbelievable scenes as the coach breaks down and tractor takes us to the nearest pub."
