Trophy hunters know their next opponents

FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round Draw

EVO-STIK Northern Premier League clubs flying the flag in the FA Trophy are weighing up their next opponents in the competition after the draw for the second qualifying round was made at Wembley at lunchtime on Monday.

A total of 36 ties are scheduled for 15 November with 30 EVO-STIK NPL clubs hoping to be among the winners who will earn £3,250 from the FA’s prize fund.

FC United of Manchester, the final club to book their berth in the next round on Sunday with a 2-0 win over Padiham, have been drawn at home to Buxton while Darlington are on the road to EVO-STIK League Southern St Neots, as are Marine who will travel to either Evesham United or Banbury United. A trip to Reddich United also awaits either Ossett Town or Trafford.

Blyth Spartans, with their eyes on the FA Cup’s First Round Proper this weekend when they host Conference Premier Altrincham, will take on either Halesowen Town or Matlock Town at Croft Park.
